As the founder and manager of ELD Coaching, Jason has been tutoring for over 8 years in all levels of English, Mathematics, French, Japanese, HSC Legal Studies and university level Law. He has had overseas experience, teaching in Paris as a volunteer English tutor at a home-stay, as well as in a private French school. Jason has also been an elite figure skating coach at the Liverpool Catholic Club for over 6 years, teaching children privately, taking them to competitions and teaching recreational skating from as little as 3 years old to adult learners. His passion is founded in the power of education that acts as the stepping to the future success of all his students.
He is completing his final year at the University of New South Wales in a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of International Studies (French & Japanese Studies). In 2014-2015, Jason went on university exchange to France and studied politics, history and literature in French at Sciences-Po Aix. He is also completing two degrees concurrently with his undergraduate: Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) at Macquarie University via OUA and a Masters of Education (Primary and Secondary), through Deakin University. He has obtained in all his degrees a distinction average.
In 2019, he will sit the GAMSAT (the Graduate Medical School Admissions Test) and endeavour to enter medical school to complete a Doctor of Medicine as a future goal. In 2019, will also complete his Certificate of Practical Legal Training (PLT) to become admitted as a practicing lawyer in New South Wales.
Madasyn Baldassare is the head of Primary School Tuition at ELD Coaching. She has recently commenced her first year of studies at the University of Sydney, and will have completed a Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) by 2021. Madasyn's first year of studies will be completed under the E12 scholarship, attained through her tenacity and determination in her senior High School years. It is these same characteristics that Madasyn aims to seed within her students.
Throughout High School, Madasyn received the Van Hieu Ku award for her dedication towards her studies and an overall First in Trial result. She achieved first place in English Advanced, English Extension 1 and English Extension 2 in her cohort in trials. Her experiences as part of the School Leadership Team and the St. John's Cadet Division ensures she is well equipped with only the highest standard of leadership and commitment. Her passion for tuition and leading the generation of the future is something she will reflect in her ability as a tutor.
Kris Chetty is the head Mathematics tutor at ELD Coaching. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Mathematics Education at the University of Wollongong under the “teach.NSW” scholarship program. His degree specialises in Mathematics tuition from Year 7 to Year 12, with a major focus on educational pedagogies, traditional and contemporary, that are being applied in practice today by the leading Mathematics teachers.
His drive and inspiration for teaching mathematics derived from his commitment to tutoring peers of his grade the general mathematics course throughout his HSC year. Kris achieved 1st place in General Mathematics (Preliminary) and 3rd place in General Mathematics (HSC) in his cohort. He continues his love and desire for Mathematics through teaching to impart the same appreciation for this subject.
